playdough! coloured capes & eye mask printables for role playing
rescue missions! using playdough as the foundation for
building work, construct landscape worlds for each of the superhero's personalised
capes; towers, bridges and creating places where heroes do what they do
best .. :D

Finish the eye mask by attaching a length of
shearing elastic to each of the outer sides.
Print two capes, cut one out and attach it to the spoon and laminate the
other to use as a playdough mat.
Superhero spoon puppets
In support of diversity we painted the wooden spoons with acrylics and once dry displayed them in a slice
of tree - the bore holes were made with a 12mm flat head drill bit. Use a small
wicker basket to hold a variety of fabric strips and dress-up each spoon
as wished.
Comic style speech
'explosions' can help to introduce language, congratulating the heros
on a rescue well done!
